The point of view on research and interrelation with public institutions
An authoritative panel of institutional players, including the Minister of University and Research, and scholars leading public and private research centers and scientific societies accepted the invitation to participate in a structured interview on the topic of research and the
role of public institutions, the subject of the Special Focus. The interviews are presented below in a “question-answer” format.
They depict “in real time” the state of the art in Italy. They include references aimed at analyzing and making a comparison with the supranational context, envisaging scenarios that might lead to modeling processes. By sharing information, ideas and models, they let emerge, as is the duty of a “mobilizing journal”, reflections promoting a debate that goes beyond the primary objective of the Special Focus itself, among academics,public management and the environment inside and outside public institutions and the world of research.
